How To Read Deleted WhatsApp Messages On Android
If you have been using WhatsApp for a while, then you might know that WhatsApp made some huge changes the previous year. WhatsApp got the ability to delete sent messages. Although the feature is useful, it has been misused. The recall or delete for everyone feature is already there on WhatsApp, but it has few limits. You can only delete messages within the 7 minutes of being sent. Once you cross the time limit, you can’t remove the messages from every end.
However, Android users know how to find a way out of everything, and the same thing goes for WhatsApp Delete for Everyone feature as well. You can read the deleted messages even after the 7 minute time frame. Since our notification panel shows the first few words of the received messages, all you need to do is to access the Notification Logs or use any Notification Manager app to access deleted WhatsApp messages.
How To Read Deleted WhatsApp Messages On Android
So, in this article, we have decided to share with you two best methods that could help you to read those deleted or revoked WhatsApp messages. It’s worth to note that these methods work on almost 99% of cases, but still, there are few things which can modify the outcome. For example, if you have restarted your smartphone or cleared the cache & data file of WhatsApp, then these apps can’t recover the deleted messages.
Using GBWhatsApp
GBWhatsApp is one of the best and top-rated WhatsApp mod available on the Google Play Store. The app is massively popular amongst Android users, and it provides users lots of benefits. The app helps users to remove the restrictions that the official WhatsApp app puts of users. We have also published an article on GBWhatsApp Apk which you can read to know more about the app.
GBWhatsApp for Android also got the ability to recover deleted messages. So, in this method, we need to use GBWhatsApp to read deleted WhatsApp messages.
#1 Download & install the latest version of GBWhatsApp on your Android smartphone. Once done, head to the Settings > Security. Under the Security menu, find and enable the ‘Unknown Sources’ option.
#2 In the next step, head to the folder where you have saved GBWhatsApp and open it. Tap on ‘Install’
#3 After that wait for few seconds until the app installs on your Android smartphone.
#4 Once installed, open the app and then head to the GBSettings > Open Log. Now under the Logs like database, cache, etc. Note down the folder patch and visit there. Now you will be able to check the messages in the log file.
Read Deleted Messages Without Using Any App
There’s a method to read deleted messages without using an app. If you are using Android for a while, then you will know that the operating system saves all notifications temporarily under the ‘Notification Log’. So, we can see the Notification log to read the deleted WhatsApp messages. However, it only shows the first 30 letters of the messages. So, here’s how you can use notification log to read deleted messages.
#1 Long press on the free area of the home screen and then tap on Widgets.
#2 Now under the Widgets, find the ‘Settings’
#3 Now you will see the list of settings. Here you need to scroll down and tap on ‘Notification Log’
Under the notification log, you will be able to see all previous notifications including WhatsApp messages. However, the method shared above will only work if you haven’t restart your smartphone after receiving the notifications. If you have restarted or reset your Android smartphone, then you won’t see anything on Notification log.
Another thing is that Notification Logs saves the past few records of received notification, something between 10 to 20. So, if your smartphone has received 20-30 notifications soon after the WhatsApp’s one, then you won’t find it on the Notification Log. So, it’s better not to waste time in such situations.
These are the two best methods to read deleted WhatsApp messages. In our opinion, the GBWhatsApp method works best. If you have any suggestions, let us know in the comment section below.
